Attended your event at Valley Forge Fri, Sat, & Sun. It was great. The Wicked Tinkers were a great find. Also really enjoyed seeing Celtic Soul again, and as always Blackthorn was fantastic. See you again next Feb. |

I love going to the festivals every year to see some of my favourite celtic musicians all in one place. I go through withdrawl until the next time I can see some of them again. Anyone who follows the Celtic/rock/Australian Tribal band BROTHER might be interested to know that RICK KUREK,lead guitarist of BROTHER, is performing solo on wed march 13 @ 8:30 pm at The Tally-Ho Tavern, 205 West Fourth Street, Bethlehem,PA - $5 at the door.

My wife and I have been going to the Mid-Winter Festival for five years now and it gets better every year. The acts are some of the finest Celtic musicians anywhere. The Glengarry Bhoys are excellent. Jimmy Kelly is incredible. Neil Andersen is obviously possessed. Hadrian's Wall leaves me speachless when I see how much they improve from performance to performance. The Hooligans are dynamic. The Wicked Tinkers leave one searching for superlatives. They are musical energy incarnate. Seven Nations is Seven Nations. What more can you say about them? They are scary good. To Bill and Karen Reid. Please keep up the good work. You make each festival enjoyable by your excellent effort (and that of your dedicated group of volunteers), and comfortable by your gratious presence. As long as there are people like you, Celtic music will live forever. RA Ritchie |

We found out about the Valley Forge Festival from our friend Ted the Fiddler--thank you Ted!--& spent ten hours there on 16th! It far exceeded our expectations, & we couldn't have enjoyed it more. When is the next one??? |
